Louis Vuitton - Turenne PM

Back in february, I got this handbag I've always wanted -  Louis Vuitton ~Turenne PM.. the newly released design in Louis Vuitton handbag family.

I've been fan of Louis Vuitton because of their iconic design that stay over the decade. If you buy it today.. chances are people will still looking forward to buy it years later.. years later you will carry it and still be as fashionable as now.. awesome isn't it! It comes with a huge price tag.. it is expensive.. But it's a great investment for handbag lover out there.

So I got Turenne in the smallest size - the PM size. Initially I wanted speedy B in Damier.. but then the sales person recommend me turenne as it is newly released design and very few people has got it. Price wise, it is slightly more expensive than speedy B.. Since it is a new design.. i thought it's worth the price gap.. so I chose it.

 I'm going to divide this review into 3 sections.

1. body of the bag
2. The handle & the strap 
3. Function/space of the bag 

1. Body of the bag

As you can see, the body is made of the legendary and iconic monogram canvas. There is no doubt it will stay through the decade as the canvas itself has made it's way till today. It is thick and feels so luxury. It has leather smell on it. The front and the bag of the bag has the pleats kinda design.. Overall it's not too sturdy, just enough to not to sag. Unlike speedy which tend to sag, i think Turenne will remain it's shape.

2. The handle & the strap

Like any handbag, Turenne has rounded handle. It's made of Vachetta leather which is really beautiful. Same goes to the shoulder strap. It feels very smooth and well-made. One touch to the handle and you'll know its a high quality leather. Vachetta leather will darken overtime and turn into gorgeous honey colour - they call it "patina". That's what made it special. The only thing is care for this expensive leather is such a trouble. It is easily stained and if you accidentally grab the handle when your hand is wet.. you'll cry.. The area which is touched by your wet hand will darken while the other area still white. So it will be patchy.

The strap.. the strap is adjustable but its too long for me.. even tough after the shortest setting. For your comparison, I am a petite girl.. I'm only 5ft tall.. 

It has 3 holes on it. When I asked the sales person if I can punch extra holes, she said they dont recommend it b'cos it will easily damage the strap over time of use. So I decided not to do it.

3. Function/space of the bag

To me, Turenne is a very functional handbag. It has a wide opening and spacious in the inside. It has two phone pockets and 1 bigger compartments. It also has like a round key loop to attach your keys to it. I personally don't use it at all. Because it has a wide opening, you can maximally utilize the space. The bag itself is quite sturdy (not too sturdy tough, just enough to hold the shape), so I think if you carry extra items it wont sag too much. 

Not only the space, fashion wise it is also very functional :D. You can use it as your everyday bag, office bag, or any special occasions and you will still look fashionable. It match any outfits anytime anywhere. One bag and you got all you need to pair with your dressing.

So.. Finally, is it worth it?

My answer is.. DEFINITELY.

I love Louis Vuitton, I love the iconic monogram canvas, I love Turenne. Price wise, I think it's super worth it.. As I mentioned it's a newly released design! If I'm not wrong its just released on Nov 2014.
It is one bag for any occasions. It fits to be carried anytime anywhere. Fits you wherever you go. One bag is all you need.. ;)

Delusive people

Lately I realize that most of people around me are fake or rather "delusive”. They put on smile on their face and make it look so sincere when actually it’s only a mask. A mask that covers the true personality they have. I don’t understand. Why do people want to be so delusive. After all, we are all human. Shouldn't we just be true to each other.. Life would be easier..

I’ve been through a lot in my life. I’ve been broken way too many times. It just felt like the world is against me. I’ve learned the hard way but yet I’m still too naive to believe these delusive people, or maybe I’m just too stupid to understand the truth. Sometimes, I just feel like this world I'm living in is not for me. There are too many things that are far from my understanding. Its only because I can seek comfort from God so then I can carry on till now. I can be very true to someone, but in the end I got nothing but shit. Yet I’m still acting so foolish. Such a pity to know that these people would rather be delusive and hurt someone to defend their position (or whatever their up to) than to accept the true treatment from other. Stupid me to still being so true to these people.

Well, when part of me feel so irritated, the other part of me is thankful to them. Because of these rather delusive people, I learn to be careful.. to put up the barrier to defend myself in future. Yet I’m still learning to.. because deep down inside my heart.. we all deserve to be treated truly.

My Braces Experience

Helloo there sunshine!

Today I'm gonna share with you my braces experience. I'm still on braces. It has been about 6 months. Yes, it is painful.. but to me it is still bearable. Well, No pain no gain ya :)

Ever since I got my braces on, my teeth has shift a lot. My front teeth used to be crooked. I hate my smile and didn't feel confident. After a few months of treatment, now my teeth has become more aligned and nice looking.

The pictures above are the progression of my braces in this few months.

At my first appointment, the orthodontist put on the bottom braces first and top braces on the following month. During the process the ortho put on the braces, I only feel slight pressure without any pain. But about 1 hour later, my whole set of teeth sore and I can still feel the pressure. It's like teeth being pulled kinda sensation. For a few days my teeth became very sensitive, so I can only eat soft foods like porridge and banana.

These are a few tips from me if you are planning to get braces anytime soon!

• To have braces on is a long time commitment. So choose the right ortho at the most convenient location for you as well as your pocket.
• Be prepared to be told to extract your healthy teeth!
• Take painkiller before heading to your appointment where your ortho will put on your braces. This may reduce the sore coming on soon after you got it on.
• Stock up some soft foods like cup porridge, canned baked beans, bananas, or simply milk. You might want to eat soft foods for a few days as your teeth will be very sensitive at this time. My suggestion are: soft scrambled eggs, fruit juices, mashed potato and biscuits (soak with hot milo)
• Use inter dental tooth brush to clean the space between your braces as it will be hard to reach by tooth brush 

The length of treatment will be depend on how fast your teeth move. For me, I have to wear my braces for about 2 - 3 years. Still a long way to go tough, but it's ok. I do my braces in JB, malaysia for RM 10k, excluded extraction. So it's like I have to go JB from Singapore once a month. Oh ya, not forgetting I had to extract 2 premolars on the upper jaw as there wasn't enough space for my teeth to move. My teeth on the upper jaw were squeezing each other!

Well, to me.. Braces treatment is worth it. The pain, the cost, the time consumed, it's all worth it. Anyway, you will wear your teeth for your whole life right! So if 2-3 years of braces will let you smile confidently for your whole remaining life, why not??? :)
